Easily Upgrade From Windows 10/11 Home to Pro

Windows 10 and 11 are popular operating systems for personal computers, and they come in several different editions. Two of the most common editions are Home and Pro. While both editions share many features and functionalities, there are some key differences between them.

One of the primary differences between Home and Pro in Windows 10 and 11 is the level of security and control over the operating system. Pro includes features such as BitLocker encryption, which allows users to encrypt their hard drives, and Windows Defender Application Guard, which helps protect against malware and other threats. Additionally, Pro offers more control over Windows updates, allowing users to defer updates for a period of time. Home lacks these security features and offers less control over updates, making it a better choice for home users who do not require advanced security measures.

Another difference between the two editions is the ability to connect to a domain. Windows 10 and 11 Pro Versions allows users to join a domain, which is useful for businesses that need to manage user accounts and devices on a network. You can see if you have the Home or Pro version by going to start and type about, then select about your PC, then click Open as seen on the left. Under the Windows Specification section, you will see Edition, which will tell you either Windows 10/11 Home, Pro, Enterprise or S-Mode. If it says Home, upgrading to Pro is simple!

Go back to our start button and type in store, then click Open on Microsoft Store. From there in the search bar of the Store, search for Windows 10 and as you are typing, you will get the result for Windows 10/11 Pro. You can still search for Windows 10, even if you have a Windows 11 machine, as both will give you the same result. Click on the Windows 10/11 Pro option, then click Buy. The price is $99, which is still expensive, but cheaper than buying it from most stores, and you know it is a genuine key, since it is coming from Microsoft.

Once you have successfully purchased your upgrade, the buy button will convert to an install button. Click install and the Windows store will begin downloading the Pro version of your operating system. It will reboot automatically to install it, so be sure that all your work is saved before you start this process.
